The Brief

When Dauus came to us a company based in East Africa, particularly Somalia with a brief to help them launch their latest Shampoo and Conditioners brand Ebyan targeting woman in Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia we knew we had to put our best heads together to come up with unique positing for this unique brand through the following solution:

  1. Audience Segmentation: This was done through market research to identify the beauty-conscious segment that aligns with Ebyan’s product offerings and values.
  2. Rebranding & Execution: Developed a comprehensive rebranding strategy that included a new brand identity, logo, color scheme, and packaging design. (Collaborated with a design team to create a contemporary logo and packaging that appealed to the beauty-conscious consumers)

The Solution

Ebyan is proudly African, and we wanted that to be the departure point for everything we do. But not in the typical, expected boldness that comes to mind when the word “African” is thrown in the mix. Our rebrand for Ebyan took a big diversion away from that expected universe and served an elegant glow-up inspired by African roots partnered with a mellow, modern minimalism. The brand overhaul features sleek packaging with personality-infused patterns, colors and motifs.

The Result

The new Ebyan’s communication brought to life through a tableau of clean, uncomplicated design that serves up endless beauty and joy. Supported by a beautifully crafted  copy and direction that exude the fun and modern elements of the brand ethos which led to the commercial spot: “The Mane Squeeze”. Making the experience of buying the product a statement choice!
